This album has it's great moments, its'really rocking moments and then its folk moments. A very good album. I for one, do not appreciate the explicit language on one or two songs.
I love this CD by Pink. I bought this CD mainly for that song but ended up loving it all. Some of the language is harsh but if you like music that tells it like it is, you will love it too."Please Mr President" is an awesome song that was banned from many radio stations because it was against former President Bush. Some people can't take the truth. Thanks Pink. keep em coming.
But don't take my word for it. I'd only ever heard Get The Party Started, and tho that's a great tune, truthfully there isn't ONE BAD SONG on this album.
She's brutally honest and open, has a tremendous voice, and this album hasn't left my cd player since I got it. She's a new personal fave artist for me.
I guess I really should have looked deeper into Pink's music cause I would have discovered A LONG TIME AGO that this girl can rock. This is where I saw what kind of talent she had and I was immediately won over.
I can't wait to get the rest of her albums. And if you wanna see this gal rock, get her Wembley Stadium concert dvd.
She's sexy, she rocks and I can't say enough about how much fun this album is. check it out yourself.
You can feel her fury and want to join in just to get everything that's in your head out.
For my husband and me-this album has become one of "our" albums. That's all.Oh, yeah. I cry whenever I hear "Who Knew," because it makes me think of how I'd feel if I lost my husband. I just love the album. "Dear Mr. President" is also a great song.
